February or June?!?!

I wish planning a wedding was easy. I thought it WOULD be since it isn't going to be anything spectacular. But no. It's not. We still canNOT decide what we want to do.

First off, we are considering moving the wedding from June to February because everything is more affordable in February. Especially in the honeymoon aspect. Even though we can't decide if we'd rather go on a cruise or to a beach, it would just be SO much cheaper to go in February when compared to June because June is the most popular month. Especially for weddings and such.

I think the honeymoon expense is really the only thing I'm concerned about. Steven says if we wait until June, we'll have more money in our savings to spend on our honeymoon.. but.. that seems backwards to me if it will be CHEAPER to go in February, yanno? Like.. Yeah, we'll have more money to spend on a more expensive honeymoon in June, but WHY wait and spend more when we can spend LESS in February? But then again, I still like the idea of a June wedding because (even though I didn't want one at first) an outside wedding or reception is more of an option (and also, less expensive). Plus, it's WARMER. But then again.. we could get married around Valentine's Day.. Ugh! I dunno!!

Right now, we are looking at this place that seems REALLY affordable for the ceremony or reception. But I don't think that is really a factor because I think the price will stay the same between Feb and June to rent it.

Yes, I believe my main concern is paying for the honeymoon. Also, I want it to be something we can do yearly to celebrate our anniversary. Again, it is more affordable to do in February and it would be nice around Valentines Day because I think a lot of places will have Valentine's Day specials.

YET ANOTHER OPTION would be to go to the Justice of the Peace, get our marriage certificate/license, have a backyard reception, and then have the actual ceremony on the beach with just the two of us. That.. would be soooo romantic. It's ideal for both of us since we've done the family and friends thing before, BUT we feel so isolated from everyone as it is :-/ Still.. a wedding on the beach.. <3<3<3 I mean, we could still have the RECEPTION with everyone, right?..

UGH! Geez. I'm so indecisive right now! On the plus side, I think I may have picked out a dress :D I love it so much more than my last one. I can't believe my last dress was like $500 from a consignment shop.. that's so ridiculous compared to the one I found that's BRAND NEW! :D I can't wait to get it! But I NEED to get my plans together FIRST.
